A Memory of Two Mondays

Based on Arthur Miller's own experience at his first job, A Memory of Two Mondays focuses on a group of blue collar workers earning their livings and pulling each other along in a New York automobile parts warehouse during the Great Depression of the 1930's, a time of 25 percent unemployment in the United States.

Mulkey nails the tricky mix of realism and impressionism...the recurrent mechanistic sounds- tapped fingers on a chair, metal coffee cup, pencil on a desk- are inspired, supplied by a dream cast...brings Miller’s haunting, sometimes hilarious reminiscences to such meaningful, moving, pitch-perfect life.” -Backstage
